Churches Against Trafficking

What is Churches Against Trafficking?

Churches of various streams and denominations joined forces with politicians, sportspeople and artists in response to the world’s human trafficking plight. The tour saw Becky Murray and the One By One team visit churches throughout the UK in 2023. The event was backed by the Bishop of Dover, Rose Hudson-Wilkin and Premier League footballer Junior Stanislas, as well as other Christian musicians and politicians.

Stanislas, a forward for Bournemouth in the Premier League, said: “When I heard the story of One By One and the children they were working with, I knew I had to get involved. It’s our mandate as Christians to reach the lost and the broken. I’m delighted to lend my voice along with many others across the church to see freedom come to those who are held captive.”

Key dates

Highlights of the Churches Against Trafficking tour have been condensed into a one-hour programme which aired on TBN UK on October 18th 2023 at 8pm, with a reception for church leaders and politicians held at the Houses of Parliament on October 16th 2023. We’re so honoured that the Christian media and members of Parliament are taking this issue seriously and using their platforms to speak up for those who have no voice. We hope the Churches Against Trafficking tour will highlight the importance of this issue and bring freedom to many lives.

"I am delighted to support Churches Against Trafficking. Together, we must continue to strive for the flourishing and freedom of all of God’s people.”

The Rt Rev Rose Hudson-Wilkin, Bishop of Dover

"I'm delighted that churches throughout the UK are standing with One By One to bring hope across the world"
